Members of Northside Christian Church participating in Help Build Hope, a program of Crossroads Missions, framed a home for a Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri (HFHS) Partner Homebuyer. Help Build Hope offers local churches an opportunity to engage its members by dedicating time, resources, hands, and prayers to frame a house for someone in need. Since 1999, the Help Build Hope program has produced over 1,300 homes nationally.
The Let’s Build Hope framing event took place at Marantha Bible Camp in Everton during a retreat for Northside Christian Church. The framed walls were donated to HFHS upon completion. Help Build Hope events reduce the cost of the home and allow the homes to be completed faster. This is the second year in a row that Northside Christian Church has donated framed walls. The previous project was completed in January 2022.
John Deere donated the use of a 53 foot trailer, and a driver volunteered their time to pick up the framed on Saturday, February 4, and transport them back to the Habitat Springfield ReStore for storage until the home is ready to be built.
