Improving the quality of life in Woodland Heights Neighborhood through housing, beautification, building community, and health and safety.
Habitat for Humanity is known for building houses, but we provide our partner families with far more than just a roof over their heads. We help our partner families develop a full set of tools to craft a brighter future. Each partner homebuyer must complete Tools for Life courses that will empower them with necessary skills and prepare them for responsibilities that come with homeownership.
Classes cover a range of topics in financial education, health, handling emergencies, and everything in between. These classes are free and open to the public.
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri is a United Way of the Ozarks Partner Agency.
