Members of Northside Christian Church participating in Help Build Hope, a program of Crossroads Missions, participated in a home framing event for a Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri (HFHS) Partner Homebuyer. Help Build Hope offers local churches an opportunity to engage its members by dedicating time, resources, hands, and prayers to frame a house for someone in need. Since 1999, the Help Build Hope program has produced over 1,300 homes nationally.
The Let’s Build Hope home framing event took place at Marantha Bible Camp in Everton during a retreat for Northside Christian Church. The framed walls were donated to HFHS upon completion. Help Build Hope events reduce the cost of the home and allow the homes to be completed faster.
With assistance from TransLand, HFHS picked up the framed walls on Saturday, January 29, 2022 and transported them back to the Habitat Springfield ReStore for storage until the home is ready to be built. This will be a five-bedroom home.
