Habitat For Humanity of Springfield, MO
Restore Home Family Hope
Construction volunteers help build homes and keep construction costs down, ultimately reducing the homebuyers’ loans! Construction skills are not necessary – we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
You don’t need to lift a hammer to help. From customer service to organizing shelves, the time you give in the ReStore supports the life-changing work we’re doing on construction sites.
The Board of Directors has the principal responsibility for the fulfillment of the mission of Habitat Springfield and the legal accountability for its operations. The Board is in charge of forming the strategic plan in line with the mission, overseeing and evaluating the plan's success, ensuring financial solvency of the organization, and instituting a fair system of policies and procedures for volunteer and personnel management. Contact Chris Tuckness at ctuckness@habitatspringfieldmo.org for additional information and to apply.
Lend your specialized knowledge to the Habitat for Humanity mission and join a committee! Committees include: construction, law, land acquisition, marketing, neighborhood revitalization, partner advocacy, ReStore, and special events. Contact us to express interest and get additional information.
Special event volunteers help with our large events, including the Tool Belts and Bow Ties gala, Rock the Block neighborhood cleanup days, and more!
We want to make your volunteer experience rewarding and as easy as possible. If you have any questions about volunteering, check out our FAQs. If you don’t see the answer you need, don’t hesitate to contact us at volunteer@habitatspringfieldmo.org or call 417-829-4001.
