Join us on November 3 at 11:30 am for our Lunch and Learn event. We will be showing the film “Briars in the Cotton Patch”, a one-hour story about Koinonia Farm and how Habitat for Humanity started, at Alamo Drafthouse. The event will start with lunch, followed by the film, finishing with a Q&A session with Habitat Springfield leadership. Tickets must be purchased by November 1. Come learn more about how our great organization was started and get a bowl of popcorn (or two)!
The 19h annual Tool Belts & Bow Ties gala will be April 11, 2024, at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center. The theme is “License to Build”, so be ready to enjoy some martinis (shaken, not stirred)! Each year, this event brings together Habitat Springfield’s advocates, supporters and volunteers to raise enough money in one night to build a home for a local family. With 350+ donors from the Springfield community, we gather for wonderful food, libations, fun, and support Habitat’s mission. During the event, guests learn how Habitat for Humanity provides hope and stability. Click the buttons below to sponsor the event and get your raffle tickets for the TAG Heuer watch raffle now. The first full week in March is Women in Construction Week, recognizing the role women play in the industry and highlight it as an avenue for careers and success. In addition to actually helping build a house for a deserving family, this week shines the spotlight on women building, investing, and advocating for decent and affordable housing around the world.
The second annual Women Build kickoff luncheon will be held on March 4, followed by the week-long Women Build! We will bring nearly 200 women together to propel 2 homes currently under construction closer to completion for an entire week! Don’t miss out on this exciting event with proceeds from sponsorships and individual ticket sales all going toward the materials necessary to continue building safe, stable, affordable homes in Greene County.
Women Build 2024 is presented by Arvest Bank.
