Our Signature Events

Yes, our events are a great time – but they’re so much more than that – they put people in homes, and they keep people in homes! Please consider sponsoring one of our signature events or donating in-kind and silent auction items.

Tool Belts & Bow Ties

The Tool Belts & Bow Ties gala brings together Habitat Springfield’s advocates, supporters and volunteers to raise enough money in one night to build a home for a local family. With over 400+ donors from the Springfield community, we gather for wonderful food, libations, fun, and support Habitat’s mission. During the event, guests are introduced to one of Habitat’s homeowners and will hear how Habitat for Humanity provides hope and stability. Join us for a wonderful night of fun and celebration as we collectively raise enough money to build a Habitat for Humanity home. If you are interested in sponsoring or attending please reach out to Amber Mueller.

Hearts & Hammers

Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri, in partnership with United Healthcare, would like to recognize the companies and individuals, without whom, Habitat’s mission to build more homes and provide stable, secure, and affordable homes to our Partner Homebuyers would not be possible. We look forward to recognizing and honoring those who have provided consistent and generous contributions over the past year, making a significant impact within our local community. All nominees will be featured in the coming months through various outlets with the winners of each category to be announced at Habitat’s Hearts and Hammers recognition dinner. If you are interested in sponsoring or attending please reach out to Amber Mueller.

Women Build

In 1991 a group of women in Charlotte, N.C., completed the first women-built Habitat for Humanity house. From this grassroots event, the seeds for Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program were planted. Since then, the Women Build program has continued to grow across international borders, empowering women everywhere to address poverty housing for themselves, their families, and their neighbors.

Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved and improves the community in which you live. Women Build is a terrific way to serve others in crucial work with a lasting impact.

Come with a group or come alone, either way you will build new friends and new skills as you come alongside other volunteers, our homeowner partners, and our Habitat construction manager, Shannon Calton, to build strength and stability through shelter. If you are interested in sponsoring or attending please reach out to Amber Mueller.
