Habitat for Humanity of Springfield invites local media to cover the Women Build 2026 Kickoff Luncheon on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Barley House at Moon Town Crossing. Presented by Arvest Bank, the luncheon officially launches the 2026 Women Build initiative, a women-led effort to construct safe, affordable homes for Springfield families.
This year, Women Build will construct a home in Springfield’s Legacy Trails neighborhood for a young couple raising three daughters, providing stability, opportunity, and a foundation for generational impact. Volunteers begin building in Spring 2026, and the project represents a total investment of $185,000, made possible through sponsorships and community support.
