Join Us for Photos with Santa and Toy Drive November 30th!
Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri (HFHS) invites families and community members to kick off the holiday season with a special visit from Santa Claus at the Habitat ReStore, located at 2410 S Scenic Avenue, on Saturday, November 30th.
Santa will be available for FREE photos during two sessions: from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring their own cameras or smartphones to capture the magic of the season. Although photos with Santa are free, donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly toward Habitat for Humanity’s work in building homes and hope in our community.
In combination with Santa’s visit, Habitat for Humanity is hosting a one-day toy drive for little ones in our community. Guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the Habitat ReStore on November 30th. These donations will create some holiday joy for children and help families celebrate the season.
In addition to meeting Santa and supporting the toy drive, guests can shop the Habitat ReStore’s wide selection of Christmas decorations and seasonal items, all at unbeatable prices. From sparkling lights to festive wreaths, the ReStore has everything you need to deck the halls while supporting a great cause.
“This event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season,” said Kristin McDaniel, Development Director. “Families can enjoy a visit with Santa, shop for holiday décor, and now help provide toys for children in need—all while supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide affordable housing for local families.”
The Habitat ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that supports Habitat for Humanity’s efforts by selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials at a fraction of the retail price.
