The fraternity and sorority community of Missouri State University will host a fundraising dinner at Pasta Express to kick off a day of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO. The pasta dinner will be held Friday, November 30, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the downtown Pasta Express, 603 S Kimbrough Ave, Springfield, MO 65806. Tickets for the pasta buffet are $5.00 and can be purchased at the event. Half of all proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity and everyone is welcome to attend.

Following the pasta dinner buffet, more than 100 Greek Life students from MSU will volunteer with Habitat at the ReStore and in the Legacy Trails Neighborhood on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Both the fundraiser at Pasta Express and day of volunteering were spearheaded by the student leadership team of MSU Greek Life.
The Fraternity and Sorority Life community of Missouri State University strives to promote academic excellence; to provide leadership opportunities; to support and serve our University and community; and to foster integrity, responsibility, and character through the practice of unity and socialization as a whole. There are currently 18 fraternities overseen by the Inter-Fraternity Council; seven national sororities and one local sorority overseen by the Panhellenic Association; and seven National Pan-Hellenic Council chapters.
