Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri, celebrated a successful home revitalization kickoff event this week, marking the beginning of a major renovation project for future homeowner Ashley, a single mother of three. The project is made possible through the generosity of Amprod LLC, ROOV, and GAF—a partnership focused on building community and stability through affordable homeownership.

Amprod, a longtime supporter of community-based initiatives, donated $50,000 to fully renovate the home Ashley will purchase through Habitat’s affordable homeownership program. The company’s employees will also volunteer throughout the renovation process.
“We are excited for the renovation of this house for Ashley,” said Tiffani Clausen, President of Amprod. “Our team will get to volunteer throughout the process. Habitat is all about building stronger communities and providing the stability and security that a home can provide. And that's what we want to do with Amprod. We want to have a secure environment for our team members and build up a stronger community as well.”

Additional support came from ROOV, which donated $4,208 in labor to install a new roof, and GAF, which provided $5,853 in roofing materials through its Community Contractor Program.
“We are really blessed to have partners like Habitat for Humanity and to have opportunities like this,” said Chad Thompson, CEO of ROOV. “And also our partnership with GAF being able to donate all the materials to help someone so deserving of this like Ashley.”
Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Chris Tuckness said events like this capture the heart of Habitat’s mission.
“We absolutely love our kickoffs and dedications,” said Tuckness. “They allow us to really showcase what we do and highlight our partner homebuyers, volunteers, and our partners like Amprod, ROOV, and GAF.”
For Ashley, the project represents a life-changing opportunity.
“I've had challenges with high rent and was looking for more stability for me and my three kids,” she shared. “It's difficult for a single mom. I'm so grateful for Habitat, Amprod, and ROOV for the opportunity to own my own home.”
Through the support of local organizations and volunteers, Habitat continues to transform lives by building and revitalizing homes, creating a pathway to strength, stability, and independence for families across the Ozarks.
