Faith Walker is a dedicated single mother of two, working tirelessly to provide her children with a better life. Through Habitat for Humanity, Faith is taking the steps to turn that dream into reality and began her Partner Homebuyer Journey in 2024.

Research by Habitat for Humanity highlights the profound effect stable housing has on children's education. Children in stable, affordable homes are more likely to attend school regularly, perform better academically, and have improved mental health. Specifically, children of homeowners are 11% more likely to graduate from high school and 4.5% more likely to complete post-secondary education compared to their peers in rental housing.
