We’re building! We currently have several ongoing constructions projects: Oak Park, Page Street, and the Women Build 2017 project. Read more about the projects below and learn how you can volunteer with Habitat!
Volunteers are needed to help complete the full rehabilitation of Oak Park. The Oak Park property requires extensive repair to both the inside and outside of the property to make it safe for the future Habitat homeowner.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer shifts for Oak Park are Wednesday – Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Both full and half day shifts available.)
Page Street is a special project for Habitat for Humanity, a full home rehab that will modify an existing home to meet the future Habitat homeowners accessibility needs. The home rehab will include adding a handicap accessible ramp, walk-in shower, and added safety rails making the home more efficient for the family.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer shifts for Page Street are Wednesday – Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Both full and half day shifts available.)
Women Build 2017:
Women Build is Habitat for Humanity’s program program and invites women to devote at least one day to help families build strength, stability and independence through housing. This program brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide. Get involved with us to make an impact on the lives of a local family. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who participated in National Women Build Week to help kick-off this special project.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer shifts for Women Build 2017 are Wednesday – Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Both full and half day shifts available.)
