FORVIS granted Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri (HFHS) $15,000 to purchase an additional truck for the construction crew. The HFHS 5-person construction team completes upwards of 80 projects each year including homebuilding, exterior repairs, water remediation, accessibility modifications, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs for individuals and families in the Ozarks. The Habitat construction vehicle will be a vital tool in completing these efforts.
HFHS recently purchased the truck, which will hold and transport necessary tools and equipment for Habitat construction projects. With the rise in need of repairs and affordable housing projects, the additional vehicle will assist HFHS staff in completing projects faster.
With this donation, FORVIS continues it’s support of affordable housing initiatives in Greene County. FORVIS is a consistent sponsor of HFHS’s Tool Belts & Bow Ties Gala, has donated to the Habitat Springfield ReStore, and has supported other projects through grants, including roof repairs and parking lot excavation.
