If you’re like my family and I, you are blessed to live in relative stability, comfort and safety and have never experienced terrible housing conditions. Thanks to compassionate people like you, families in Springfield who are trying to get their families out of these unlivable conditions can partner with Habitat to build and repair their own homes AND transform their communities.
For example, Mindy is a teacher and single mom raising 6-year-old Evan, and 4-year-old Courtney. Their family lived in a dangerous rental home that wasn’t being maintained by their landlord.
With support from neighbors like you, Mindy was able to partner with Habitat to build a safe, sturdy home. “I am happy to see the joy in my kids’ eyes when they come home,” she says.
There are many more moms who need your help. Your support fuels Habitat’s essential work. A gift today will help provide services like:
