Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds butternut squash (peeled,
- 2 gala apples (peeled, cored, and diced)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamor
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or honey)
- 2 tablespoons butter (chopped)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup pecans (or walnuts)
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine squash, apples, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Dot chopped butter over the top. Cover and bake for 15 minutes.
- Add raisins, cranberries, and pecans.
Toss to combine. - Cover and bake for another 15 minutes, or until squash is tender.
- Serve warm.
