“This time of the year is important to my husband and I in our goal setting and reviewing our family budget. Being aware of community needs and turning that awareness into action through donations is an important part of the process for us both. Habitat for Humanity’s HopeBuilder Club allows us to meet these goals while maintaining our family budget. We establish our donation for the year and then have a contribution withdrawn monthly. It’s very easy to do.
As a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat I have the opportunity to see how the organization manages funds and impacts lives. Habitat is an organization which is very fiscally responsible and sensitive to community needs.
