Stacey’s Story: Stacey Clem, realtor with Stacey & Rob Coldwell Bankers, and Habitat for Humanity board member, shared her experiences with the ReStore. When helping clients sell their home, Stacey has encouraged homeowners to find updated hardware for cabinets at the ReStore. She also encourages clients to donate furniture to help de-clutter their home prior to listing.
Dan’s Story: When Dan joined the ReStore Committee, he joined because of his experience as a donor to the ReStore. Dan was remodeling his kitchen and needed an easy way to get rid of his cabinets and major kitchen appliances. He didn’t want to deal with the hassle of posting the cabinets online to sell. After he removed the cabinets from the walls, Dan scheduled a donation pick-up from the ReStore. The ReStore staff was finished with the pick-up within 30 minutes and had a tax-deductible receipt ready.
