  The ReStore Store Manager provides day-to-day coordination and
  support of ReStore operations. Supervises store staff and volunteers
  in the collection and processing of donated merchandise, providing
  efficient quality customer service, and daily facility management.

  The position supports the Operations Director in supporting positive
  growth of the ReStore operations through improving and increasing
  store donations, and marketing the ReStore operations to both donors
  and customers.
 

  Supervisor: Operations Director

  Status: Full time, Salary, Tuesday through Saturday

  The store manager must understand and appreciate the mission of  
  HFH and the ReStore operation. The store manager must represent
  Habitat and the Habitat ReStore in a professional manner when 
  dealing with donors, fellow staff members, and the general public.
 

  Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Supervises ReStore staff, volunteers, and community service volunteers.
  • Provides introduction of ReStore operations and training to staff
    and incoming volunteers/community service personnel that will be working in the ReStore.
  • Assess knowledge and skills of volunteers, assigning duties accordingly.
  • Observes volunteer interaction with customers and insures positive interactions. 
  • Train staff and volunteers according to policy and procedure
    manual. Ensures compliance with policies.
  • Supervises collections drivers and schedules of donation pick-ups. Assists with scheduling issues of donations that require immediate response. Provides quality customer service to donors.
  • Supervises collection driver’s preventative maintenance schedule
    of all company vehicles.
      Notifies Operations Director of needed scheduled maintenance, repairs and safety issues.
  • Ensures staff coverage of store operations. Notifies Operations Director of request for changes in staff schedules, including
    vacation or trade of regular worked schedules. Documents and notifies Operations Director of sick and late attendance of
    employees.
  • Signs staff time cards and submit on time for payroll.
  • Supervises volunteers in daily housekeeping of general office spaces (unless directed by other staff), front lobby, cleaning of all four restrooms, meeting spaces and hallways.
  • Cleaning of interior retail spaces including floors, customer service areas, and receiving areas. Maintenance of parking area, secured fenced areas, and grounds/landscape

  Customer Service

  • Interacts with customers in a friendly, helpful manner, finding
    answers to their questions, and making their experience enjoyable. Answers product questions, including pricing questions.
  • Creates and maintains effective sales displays, including clear and visible price signs, price tags on merchandise and department signs. Merchandises product that showcases new donations, quality donations, and higher valued items.

 Safety

  • Coordinates with the Operations Director, site safety and security
    of staff, volunteers, customers and facility. Insure property is
    secure at the end of each business day in accordance to procedure manual. Complete incident reports in case of accidents.
